R&D Manager, Verification

As an R&D Manager Verification at Ascom you will be joining our R&D leadership team to improve and innovate our Patient Systems solutions for this role you will lead a team of engineers to elevate our test engineering and quality assurance capabilities. This role is critical to ensuring that our product quality exceeds expectations that align with real-world usage scenarios performance and security standards. This position is a hybrid position in Morrisville NC.

Your days will be filled with

• Collaboration with verification engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional performance and security dimensions.
• Overseeing test plans execution and reporting to guarantee product reliability of our Patient Systems portfolio.
• Define consistently improve and implement robust verification strategies for our Patient Systems portfolio.
• Drive test automation initiatives to improve scalability reduce variability and support a shift-left approach in the development lifecycle.
• Discovering and incorporating tools techniques and procedures to continuously improve team efficiency and effectiveness in verification procedures.
• Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with development managers product management and regulatory teams to align verification activities with business goals and customer needs.
• Ensuring verification procedures are aligned with quality compliance and regulatory applicable standards for example (ISO development environmental health and safety and other applicable).
• Ensuring that identified improvement opportunities in the test processes are addressed.
