Join Emerson’s team as a Product Security Quality Engineer and help ensure our products meet the highest standards of security, reliability, and compliance! Based in either our Boulder, CO, or Shakopee, MN, location, you will support efficient and consistent internal processes across development teams in multiple locations. In today’s continuously evolving product security environment, this role calls for someone adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, with a focus on driving corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

  • Coordinate and lead audits to ensure compliance with internal processes and international standards and regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of corrective actions arising from product security audits.
  • Contribute to implementing Secure Development Lifecycle efforts across multiple groups.
  • Build, coordinate, and participate in multi-functional and business unit communities to promote the adoption of product security standard methodologies.
  • Help identify training, development needs, and continuous improvement opportunities across organizational functions related to product security.

You build strong formal and informal networks and manage relationships across a variety of functions and locations.

For This Role, You Will Need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience and familiarity with (internal) auditing to technical and industry-specific standards, and driving certifications efforts, especially related to cyber or product security.
  • Familiar with Microsoft tools for effective communications and information management.
  • Occasional travel, domestic and international, may be required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
  • Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :

  • Experience with product security standards, specifically with the IEC 62443 family.
  • Experience with firmware development and quality processes
  • Experience in software security develop principles, standard methodologies, and the integration of security into preexisting development practices.
  • Experience with project management and new product development processes (., Stage Gate and Agile).

    Our compensation philosophy is simple : we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $90,000-120,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
