This is a hospital-based position with an award-winning hospital, seeking a psychiatrist with consultative-liaison training / experience to serve as section head .

• Ideal candidate is fellowship-trained and board certified as a consultative-liaison with ABPN
• Post-fellowship experience is highly desired
• Great communication and organization skills are needed, as well as compassion and patience.
• The successful candidate will lead a team of consultative-liaison providers and work collaboratively with other physicians, advanced practitioners, medical and surgical trainees, nurses, social workers and other health professionals in a team-based environment.
• Overnight or weekend clinical responsibilities are covered by an outside telehealth psychiatry service.
