PepsiCo Category Management Senior Analyst
The PepsiCo Category Management Senior Analyst will help provide strategic thought leadership and business intelligence support on the total PepsiCo business as part of the Target Category Leadership team. The primary objectives of this role are to drive accelerated sales growth, market share gains, and stronger customer partnerships through best-in-class shopper and category insights.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytics, insights, and recommendations to support PepsiCo Annual Operating Plan, Joint Business Planning meetings, new item meetings, and internal business inquiries
- Develop impactful content to convey growth opportunities to internal and external partners across the main levers of our business, with a focus on assortment, space, promotions, pricing, and displays
- Update reports and scorecards regularly to help the PepsiCo cross-functional team quickly understand business results
- Utilize information from multiple sources such as Target Vendor IQ, Circana POS, Circana Panel, Kantar, and internal research to identify opportunities and develop growth strategies
- Deliver shopper-centric insights and solutions that drive category growth, market share expansion, and financial plan success
- Develop strong working relationships with Target Buyers, PepsiCo Cross-Functionals, and other critical business partners
Compensation and Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850.Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Bachelor's Degree required; MBA a plus.5+ years of Category Management / Insights within the consumer packaged goods industry3-5 years' experience in analyzing and interpreting data.Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and thought leadership skills.Strong PC skill set (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Experience with standard data resources and solutions (Syndicated POS, Panel, RSI).Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to interact confidently and effectively with team members, management, and the customer.Collaboration is essential in this role as the person will work very closely with account sales leads, cross-functional teams, and the retailer directly.Strong planning / organizing skills; the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyMust be eligible to work in the United States.
