Tenure Track Position in Information Systems

Description

The McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in the Information, Risk, & Operations Management (IROM) department, starting in Fall 2026. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to high-quality research and teaching and who can contribute to our undergraduate and graduate courses in Information Systems. Specifically, we seek applicants who are conducting rigorous research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other digital technologies within a specific business or use context to solve pressing problems or create new opportunities. We expect that the successful candidate will contribute to the department’s strengths, be a team player, and be comfortable in an interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. prior to the start date in Information Systems or related areas.
