Medical Assistant

Job Description

The Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining inventory ordering supplies and stocking the clinic. Under the medical oversight of a doctor the MA will coordinate and manage client care to include preparing clients for treatment and exams translation referrals documentation and performing routine specialized procedures.

Specialties : Family Practice Pediatrics and Psychiatry

Salary : Level I - $20.00 / hour $1.00 / hour for certified MAs Level II - $20.00-$21.50 / hour $2.00 / hour for certified MAs Level III - $21.50-$23.00 / hour $2.00 / hour for certified MAs

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High School diploma and certificate from an Accredited Medical Assisting Program
• Must complete internal credentialing and privileging within 90 days of hire date
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion
• Ability to provide culturally sensitive services
• Knowledge of Windows environment and / or Electronic Health Records systems
• TB test Hep B Vaccine Immunization Records
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) trained or the ability to be trained within 90 days of hire date
• Basic Life Support trained
• Must possess reliable transportation valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance or sign waiver
