Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). CPR / BLS Certification (Required). Previous experience in a healthcare setting (e.g. hospital SNF outpatient).
Speech-Language Pathologist (Day Shift)
Location : Oakland CA 94601
Assignment Duration : 14 Weeks
Shift : 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM
Guaranteed Hours : 35 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate : $1925 - $2100; (Negotiable based on experience)
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate patients with speech language voice and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice.
- Provide therapy to improve communication skills cognitive-linguistic abilities and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists and families to coordinate care.
- Educate patients families and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care or therapy.
