Procurement and Contracts Officer

Bring your experience and proficiency in construction procurement and contract management to the the Roads and Fixed Assets unit.

As the Procurement and Contracts Officer, your purpose will be to support and implement the management of assets and the delivery of associated capital infrastructure works on the State Forest and Parks Victoria road network. You will achieve this by providing high quality procurement and contract management services, including the development of contract works specifications, tender and contract documentation, management of tender and contract processes, monitoring of contractor performance, management of contract relationships and communications, the provision of sound records management and providing advice on procurement and contract management issues.

Specialist / Technical Expertise / Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality procurement and contract management services including tendering, probity, competition processes, handling of claims and contract management.
• Experience in works and construction procurement and contract management is desirable.
• Experience in government procurement and contract management would be an advantage.

This is a fixed term position available until 31 October 2025. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
