Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced phlebotomist to join our team in a doctor's office setting. The role involves drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing with precision and care.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
  • Enter specimen data accurately into the company's computer system.
  • Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical area.
  • Handle pre and post aspects of analytical testing responsibilities.
  • Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
  • Adhere to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in blood draw and venipuncture techniques.
  • Experience in specimen collection and laboratory operations.
  • Knowledge of phlebotomy and specimen processing.
  • Ability to provide patient care and ensure comfort during procedures.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • 2-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • GED or High School Diploma is required.
  • Must be comfortable working independently.

    • Work Environment

    The phlebotomist will work inside a doctor's office, drawing blood from patients and collaborating closely with medical assistants. This role is situated in a professional and wellness-focused environment. The position operates from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM. The facility is equipped to support efficient and effective specimen processing and patient care.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36 / hr.
