LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles' third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. Key Responsibilities :

Sport Services & Partner Integration

• Effectively integrate external delivery partners for sport entries (IOC) and weather services, as well as manage all contractual requirements
• Oversee the sport entries project, supporting cross-functional integration, operating plans, and project management of key deliverables in lockstep with the IOC
• Support the development of the agreement with the weather services provider, ensuring that all LA28's weather services requirements are scoped and captured across Olympic and Paralympic sports, including testing activities and Games-time delivery
• Direct the development and validation of all Sport schedules, including competition, training, and Detail Competition Activities Schedule (DCAS) across all Olympic and Paralympic sports, including oversight on all change management
• Ensure the competition and training schedules project and outputs have visibility both within the organization for coordinated and accurate planning by all Functions and with key Delivery Partners (e.g., Omega, OBS, Public Transit partners)
• Support the development of Sport policies, procedures and contingency plans for Games-time that are impacted and / or influenced by Sport schedules and weather services, including the joint IOC / IPC Delay, Postponement, Advancement and Cancellation policy
• Recruit and lead a Sport Publications manager to deliver all pre-Games and Games-time publications required of Sport, including the Sport-related content needed for cross-functional publications

Submission Requirements :

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 - $140,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
