POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Associate Director of Building and Security, the Cleaning Technician ensures all facilities are clean, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing to reflect the values of The King’s University.

Position Specific Responsibilities Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping , mopping and dusting according to schedule.
Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained from trash or any misplaced items.
Perform cleaning responsibilities to campus restroom daily Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate Ensure all rooms and offices are cared for and inspected according to standards Notify supervisor of any damages, deficits and disturbances Adhere strictly to rules and policies regarding health and safety and be aware of any university related practices Promptly clean up spills with appropriate equipment in accordance with university guidelines.
Ensure that all trash is collected and disposed of properly.
Properly clean upholstered furniture.
Keep supply room organized and orderly Assist with preparing meeting rooms and event requests as needed.
Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing and sorting linens when needed.
Attend routine trainings as needed to ensure health and safety requirements are met.
