Freight Rail Project Manager

AECOM  is currently seeking an experienced and talented  Freight Rail Project Manager - Civil / Track Design   in Austin TX  t o join and to report to the AECOM US West Region Rail Group. This person will have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of exciting freight rail design projects with the AECOM rail group with a focus on supporting and growing our Class I short line and industrial clients. The AECOM office provides upward mobility opportunities for growth and leadership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Serve as an AECOM project manager / lead engineer on rail projects from planning preliminary engineering and final design.
• Accountable for developing project scope budget and schedule and lead client contract negotiations.
• Coordinate cooperate and work collaboratively with others team members as well as support business development.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to subordinate managers and technical engineering staff.
• Performance at this level requires experience in a professional position and demonstrated experience with the types of tasks that will be required.

Qualifications :

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

BA / BS eight (8) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
