Position Overview : Fleet Operations Safety Manager

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented leader to oversee safety and compliance across our expanding fleet. As the Fleet Operations Safety Manager, you’ll play a vital role in upholding safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting driver operations across multiple markets. Key Responsibilities of a Fleet Operations Safety Manager :

Develop, implement, and enforce driver safety policies and operational procedures across assigned zTrip markets
Conduct regular vehicle inspections, safety audits, and compliance reviews
Maintain accurate records for driver certifications, background checks, drug screenings, and training completions
Investigate vehicle incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and lead corrective action plans
Stay up-to-date on local, state, and federal transportation regulations
Work closely with local teams to ensure consistent safety practices and regulatory compliance
Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding and ongoing safety training for drivers
Act as a liaison between drivers, management, and regulatory agencies to ensure clear communication and effective resolution
