pThe Security Coordinator is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining security strategy with a strong focus on total security in the yards and other properties. When necessary, they will also be responsible for conducting on-site investigations related to transportation incidents, compliance audits, and operational reviews. The Security Coordinator will travel extensively to various locations, gather and analyze evidence, and prepare comprehensive reports to support operational integrity and regulatory compliance. / p

ul liDevelop, implement, and oversee security strategies with a focus on total security across operations. / li liIdentify vulnerabilities and recommend measures to mitigate security risks. / li liEnsure the protection of assets, personnel, and information through robust security protocols. / li liConduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance and readiness. / li liProvide training and guidance to staff on security best practices and emergency procedures. / li liConduct thorough investigations into transportation-related incidents, including vehicle accidents, cargo issues, and employee conduct. / li liTravel frequently to perform on-site inspections and collect relevant evidence. / li liInterview drivers, employees, witnesses, and other stakeholders to gather accurate and comprehensive information. / li liLiaise with local law enforcement officials in areas relevant to open investigations. / li liDocument and analyze findings to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. / li liEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations. / li liCollaborate with internal departments, legal teams, and external agencies as required. / li liPrepare clear, detailed, and timely investigative reports for senior management. / li liMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. / li liMonitor industry trends and regulatory changes to enhance investigative processes. / li liUp to 75% travel required. / li / ul
pstrongQualifications / strong / p
ul liBachelors degree in Criminal Justice, Transportation Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). / li li5+ years of experience in field investigations, detective work, or a related role. Experience in the transportation or logistics industry (preferred). / li liModerate understanding of transportation industry regulations (e.g., DOT, FMCSA). / li liBilingual in English and Spanish (Required). / li liExcellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. / li liAbility to work independently and manage multiple investigations simultaneously. / li liProficiency in using investigation tools, software, and Microsoft Office Suite. / li liValid drivers license with ability to maintain insurability standards. / li liStrong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. / li / ul strongJob Benefits : / strong
