Job Description
Role Overview / Responsibilities :
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing / factory setting.
- Coordinate efficient material flow to ensure timely delivery of components to all areas of the factory.
- Review technical prints shop drawings and product Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure each part has been built appropriately.
- Push and gather kit material from one station to another utilizing pallet trucks and / or forklifts.
- Work closely with purchasing and receiving for deliveries.
- Load / unload truck shipments.
- Be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Manage material inventory in storage ensure accessibility of high demand materials and minimize waste.
- Restock racks ensuring all materials are accessible.
- Operate a press brake and CNC plasma table.
- Implement solutions for standard hours in the factory.
- Ensure components stations are prepared in a timely manner and are welding at rate with production.
- Be able to read production board efficiently to keep factory flowing.
- Perform other duties as required.
