Materials Control Coordinator

Job Description

Role Overview / Responsibilities :

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing / factory setting.
• Coordinate efficient material flow to ensure timely delivery of components to all areas of the factory.
• Review technical prints shop drawings and product Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure each part has been built appropriately.
• Push and gather kit material from one station to another utilizing pallet trucks and / or forklifts.
• Work closely with purchasing and receiving for deliveries.
• Load / unload truck shipments.
• Be able to work in various weather conditions.
• Manage material inventory in storage ensure accessibility of high demand materials and minimize waste.
• Restock racks ensuring all materials are accessible.
• Operate a press brake and CNC plasma table.
• Implement solutions for standard hours in the factory.
• Ensure components stations are prepared in a timely manner and are welding at rate with production.
• Be able to read production board efficiently to keep factory flowing.
• Perform other duties as required.
