Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced First Class Sheet Metal Workers for projects located in the Newport News, VA area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $27.31 / hour based on experience plus $140 / day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope :

• Installation of foundations, ventilation, bulkheads and shipboard furniture
• Sheet metal fabrication shop work
• Comprehend complex ventilation, assembly drawings, blueprints & sketches to include weld symbols, material, types, datum and reference lines
• Layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly
• Assemble piece parts in accordance with specifications in a quality manner
• Use small hand tools electric drills grinders rivet guns and shop equipment drill press press break Shears etc
