Tax Manager – Public Accounting – Partner Track

Our client, is a long-established, growth-minded public accounting firm that recently joined forces with a local Birmingham based private equity firm,but with a refreshing twist. We are looking for a CPA, the join a growing firm, building something intentional and sustainable, prioritizing people over pure profit with a long-term vision of shared success

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the final reviewer and lead tax strategist on client engagements
• Mentor and develop junior staff while optimizing internal workflow
• Partner with two senior CPAs focused on client growth and strategic value
• Work directly with the firm’s Managing Director to modernize systems and create operational excellence
• Step into a leadership role with a clear succession path to partner, taking over a retiring book of business and expanding your own
