This position is contingent upon contract award.

The EW / EMS Specialist will provide administrative and programmatic expertise to the client in their role to organize, train, and equip Airmen to dominate within the EW / EMS disciplines. The EW / EMS Branch (ACC / A3 / 2 / 6KL) is responsible for the ACC Directorate of Operations (A3) equities of EW / EMS operations, which includes over 38 programs / functions on various equipment, training, and initiatives. The position is full time, on-site in a professional office setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support the development of Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) policy, management of operational deployments, and Global Force Management (GFM) activities and taskings.

Support readiness activities by reviewing, coordinating, and preparing Status of Resources and Training Systems (SORTS) and Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) reports, development and management of Unit Training Codes (UTC), Designed Operational Capability (DOC) statements, Mission Essential Tasks (METS), Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP) and associated Deployment Orders (DEPORDs), and other Global Force Management (GFM) activities.

Assist with policy and guidance for training devices and simulators, EW / EMS Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) / Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), and support Simulator Certification (SIMCERT) programs.

Support development of training, e.g. courseware, syllabi, Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Requalification Training PWS, Realistic Training Review Board (RTRB), Training Planning Teams (TPTs), Instructor Upgrade, and Training Task Lists (TTL).

Support the development of range policy and sustainment, and integration into Department of Defense (DoD) training ranges.

Support and participate in exercises, assist with documenting training and lessons learned, and provide recommendations to meet government guidance.

Develop capability requirements documents (Core Function Support Plan), providing capabilities management and gap-fill analysis, and develop requirements strategy while ensuring consistency with government directives throughout.

Support establishment of standards, tasks, and formal training requirements for both operations and maintenance.

Assist with authoring system-specific instructions and manuals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 8 years of operational mission experience as rated aircrew operating EW systems in DoD aircraft
  • 5 years of operational experience integrating EW, cyber, information operations, space, and ISR effects
  • 5 years of experience managing DoD aircraft EW Systems or related operations programs
  • 2 years of staff experience managing EW and EMS programs at the Wing level or higher
  • Graduate of 563rd Flying Training Squadron (Randolph), 453rd Flying Training Squadron (Mather), or 479th Flying Training Group (Pensacola)
  • Possess and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Shall be a U.S. citizen
  • Shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to effectively carry out all contract requirements. The employee shall have a command of both the written and spoken English language to properly clearly and effectively communicate in person or via electronic devices (telephone or Email) at the executive level with co-workers, customers, and the general public.
  • Possess appropriate training and experience to perform all required functions.
