Unit Overview :
Become a vital part of our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, caring for a diverse patient population that includes :
Post-operative craniotomies for various surgeries.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients within our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients.Your Role :
Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compassionate care.Utilize your clinical judgment and communication skills to optimize patient outcomes.Contribute to a positive patient experience and support ongoing assessment and evaluation.Join Our Team :

Major Responsibilities :
Assess and address the individual needs of patients and families while developing therapeutic relationships.Monitor significant changes in patient conditions and collaborate in care modifications.Engage in discharge planning and apply evidence-based practices in patient care.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department functions and the patient experience.Attend professional development activities and maintain competencies timely.Licensure / Certification Requirements :
Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education & Experience :
Completion of an accredited nursing program.At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.Knowledge & Skills :
Apply critical thinking and decision-making in patient care.Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Maintain organization, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.Physical Requirements :
