REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Utilities Controls Technician in Winston-Salem
Your key responsibilities will include :
- Perform technical tasks in modifying installing troubleshooting and repairing DCS (Distributed Control System) infrastructure and communication network to ensure 24 / 7 reliability and functionality.
- Conduct skilled duties in the programming and technical support of Novatech D3 Distributed Control System (DCS) hardware and software. Participate in development of next generation AI Smart Controls applications.
- Support company initiatives related to energy savings and other targets by maintaining effective communication and cross departmental and implement safety standards as essential for productivity compliance and personal growth.
- Establish and maintain effective business partnerships with vendors and between and maintain written procedures to ensure equipment and systems operate at maximum efficiency.
- Maintain databases collect and analyse process data to ensure information integrity and efficient data management.
What are we looking for
Minimum 3-5 years experience in an industrial environmentAbility to read and interpret electrical to safely operate electrical equipment tools and diagnostic equipment required for troubleshooting.Proficient in MS Office package including MS Word Excel and Power Point.Detailed oriented complex problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and effective communication.HS Diploma or Equivalent .
