Description

This position is for a Consultant with expertise in data visualization, user interface / experience, and data storytelling for business and IT organizations. The Consultant will work with diverse clients, from small and medium enterprises to Fortune 100 firms. The role involves developing, analyzing, and optimizing data visualization and user interfaces, coordinating data analytics, storytelling, and UI development activities within client organizations.

Engagements are typically longer-term, allowing the consultant to oversee the implementation of process improvement recommendations.

Responsibilities

Manage and implement data visualization, UI / UX, and data storytelling within assigned projects.
Support project teams and interact with clients on data visualization, UI / UX, and storytelling initiatives.
Oversee the implementation of recommendations, including data source evaluation, data modeling, storytelling, and UI design, coordinating with other consultants.
Mentor and coach team members on data visualization, UI / UX, and storytelling fundamentals.
Develop KPIs and track metrics during and after implementation of process improvements.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in a technical field with two years of experience, or graduate degree / equivalent experience.

Strong skills in presentation, word processing, and spreadsheets.

Proven success in analysis-driven problem solving.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and within deadlines.

Collaborative skills and ability to influence without authority.

Ability to handle confidential information.

Effective relationship-building with clients.

Expertise in Microsoft Power BI; Power Platform experience is a bonus.

Experience in data analytics, KPI / dashboard development, and UI / UX evaluation / design.

Travel Requirements

Remote work with up to 25% travel to clients or in-office.
