Medical Technologist
- Performs the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical preparations of patient / clinical samples to assist a physician in treating or diagnosing different medical conditions.
- Maintains laboratory equipment to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Performs laboratory protocols and experiments with the guidance of the laboratory supervisor and manager.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Sample intake
- RNA isolation from blood and other samples e.g., saliva
- cDNA synthesis
- qRT-PR
- CData Analysis
- Operating, maintaining, and calibrating all general lab equipment.
