Compensation : $60,000 annually (Full-time, 40 hours / week)

Position Overview :

The Communications Coordinator will lead Sharing Excess’s storytelling and brand communications across multiple channels — including newsletters, email campaigns, social media, press, and graphic design projects. This role blends strategy and creativity to elevate the organization’s public voice, grow awareness, and highlight the impact of our food rescue work.

The ideal candidate has exceptional writing and design skills, experience managing digital content, and a strong grasp of how to communicate nonprofit impact with authenticity and clarity. They will collaborate across teams to ensure Sharing Excess’s message is consistent, compelling, and aligned with our mission.

Key Responsibilities :

Content Creation & Storytelling :

• Develop, write, and design compelling newsletters, press releases, and email campaigns that inform and inspire supporters.
• Create original content highlighting Sharing Excess’s impact stories, partnerships, and community work.
• Manage a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels.
