Job Description

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Alaska Regional Hospital is a 250-bed HCA Healthcare facility located in Anchorage, Alaska. The hospital is known for being the only non-military hospital in the state with its own landing strip, providing the capability to receive LifeFlight Air Ambulance patients via plane onsite.

About the Unit :

  • Number of Beds : 20 headwall, 4 halls
  • Number of Staff : 50

    • Mid Shift : Varies, (9a RN, 11a RN, 11a Tech, 11a Flow Coordinator, 12n RN, 13p RN, 15p RN)

  • Night Shift : 1 Charge RN, 4 RN's, 1 Tech, 1 US
  • Ratios : 4 : 1, unless low acuity ESI 4 and 5's then 6 : 1
  • Equipment : Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV Pumps, I Stat, EPOC, GE Monitors
  • EMR : Epic

    • Must Have :

  • At least 1 year of prior ED experience
  • ACLS (provided)
  • BLS (provided)
  • PALS (provided)
  • TNCC
  • NIH (provided)
  • ENPC
