Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Title : Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Type : Full-time / Contract (W2)

Duration : 6+ months

Location : Charlotte,NC / Chandler, AZ / Dallas, TX, / Irving, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer , you will :

Actively support and perform engineering work on implementation of Prisma Cloud Enterprise or “PCE” (SaaS hosted), ensuring effective delivery of product roadmap
Design / Develop automation for various PCE engineering and support processes, with primary focus on Container Security / Cloud Workload Protection areas
Leverage your deep expertise maintaining and automating Prisma Defender agent deploys / monitoring for Public & Private Cloud Kubernetes / Containers envs. (Tanzu, AKS, GKE & OpenShift / OCP)
Generate design diagrams using draw.io or Visio and documentation using confluence.
Perform upgrades, maintenance and configuration management on PCE Consoles
Respond to incidents / troubleshoot issues with the SaaS and deployed Defender agents for PCE
Provide professional expertise relating to resolution of host and application vulnerability false positive claims and guiding partner teams in resolving vulnerabilities & compliance issues

An ideal candidate will have :

Experience with Prisma Cloud Enterprise (PCE), focusing on engineering support, administration, configuration management, and automation

Experience supporting and deploying Prisma Defender agent, preferably at scale on Kubernetes (public and private cloud) platforms

Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, or any other version control system

Experience with AI / ML and GenAI tools or platforms (e.g., CoPilot, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI)

Experience with programmatic interaction with RESTful APIs, including extracting, manipulating, and processing JSON data using Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Proficiency in Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI, etc.

Experience working with container orchestration platforms (preferably Kubernetes), microservice architectures, and engineering

Experience with two or more major cloud service providers (GCP, Azure, AWS)

Experience with CI / CD tools such as Harness, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions in security or DevSecOps contexts

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of cloud security, including services, workloads, and hardening practices.

Desired Qualifications :

Experience with relational databases and SQL queries

Linux experience

Familiarity with of various cloud security and related risk frameworks (CIS, NIST, COBIT, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), FedRAMP, etc.)

Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies

Splunk Cloud experience, including writing queries

CISSP Certification

Microsoft Azure and / or Google Cloud Certifications

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range

Between $65-70per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
