Description
We are seeking an experienced RF Test Technician / Test Engineer to join our operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality performance and reliability of RF and microwave components and systems. The ideal candidate must excel in microwave measurement methodologies, such as but not limited to S-parameters, noise figure, compression, phase noise, intermodulation, spur / harmonic testing, pulse power measurements, and DC measurements, with working knowledge up to 67 GHz. Additionally, the candidate must be proficient in Python programming to develop and automate RF test programs, improving efficiency and accuracy in measurement processes.
Requirements
- Perform RF and microwave testing with working knowledge using equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF generators, signal analyzers, pulse generators, and current probes.
- Develop and automate RF test programs using Python, optimizing test processes and improving efficiency
- Troubleshoot problems down to the component level, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions efficiently.
- Able to solder and inspection skills to IPC standards, ensuring precision and quality in circuit and component assembly.
- Requires excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools and specialized fixtures.
- Maintain operational efficiency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
