Job Title : Senior Commercial Operations Analyst

Location : Hybrid – Atlanta, GA or Gainesville, FL

Overview :

A leading energy provider is seeking a Senior Commercial Operations Analyst to support its natural gas trading, scheduling, and origination teams. This position plays a vital role in managing operational data, supporting commercial transactions, and maintaining reporting workflows that fuel critical business decisions.

This hybrid role offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of natural gas transactions and is ideal for candidates who are analytical, highly organized, and interested in the operational side of energy markets.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain and update datasets related to commercial operations, including trading, scheduling, and origination

Track Operational Flow Orders (OFOs) issued by pipelines and utilities, and communicate relevant alerts to internal teams

Generate recurring and ad hoc reports to support decision-making and visibility across commercial functions

Assist in the creation and enhancement of dashboards and reporting tools

Support contract workflows and customer records within Salesforce Energy Utilities Cloud (EUC)

Coordinate across legal, credit, and other teams to ensure contract accuracy and process completion

Maintain data integrity across internal systems and ensure timely documentation of updates

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, operational support, or commercial coordination — preferably in the energy, utilities, or financial services industry

Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills :

Experience with Salesforce Energy Utilities Cloud (EUC)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI

Familiarity with SQL or data warehouse environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Work Model :

This is a hybrid position based in either Atlanta, GA or Gainesville, FL. The work schedule includes a blend of in-office and remote work based on business needs and team coordination.

Compensation :

Salary Range : $67,655 – $75,614 annually, commensurate with experience
