Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Blood Bank Medical Technologist to join our team. Certification from ASCP or AMT is required. While SBB certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. Experience in a large academic health system is advantageous. This position entails daily supervision of laboratory operations, including staff scheduling and process management, while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and patient satisfaction. You will also represent the laboratory in the absence of the Manager, providing appropriate patient care based on demographics.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in a Biological Science (Equivalency Required for Foreign Education)
• Licenses / Certifications : Medical Technologist (ASCP or AMT), Certified CLS (ASCP or ASCP-International) or Certified MLS (ASCP or ASCP-International) CM
