Job Description : Performs responsible and safe construction duties related to removing and / or installing underground and above ground petroleum storage and dispensing systems. Learns directly from senior installers, project managers, managers and consultants in the field.

What You'll Do :

• Install tanks, piping and other equipment and assists in testing after installation. Removes and disposes of old equipment. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Operate various power tools, skid loaders, air compressors, forklift, and other related tools and equipment in performing described duties.
• Learn the trade of petroleum systems installation from Installers, Project Managers and Managers while working in the field. Complete all required training including HAZWOPER40 and LMS-assigned hazard training. Learn to complete all paper work and mobile application updates to project progress. Attend all required training to obtain a state-issued Installer's license.
• Maintain safe operations on every job site by following directions from Installers and managers. Lead by example by donning the appropriate PPE and operating in a safe and efficient manner. Has the authority to stop work on a site if an unsafe practice is observed and is obligated to do so.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Hazards : Works in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, equipment movement dangers, confined spaces, vibrations, dangerous chemical / solvents, electrical shock, and inclement temperature extremes.

Physical / Mental Exertion : Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis performing such tasks as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
