Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Drafter role in Portland, OR. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities :

• Produce detailed shop fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Mastercam software.
• Program CNC machinery by writing accurate Mastercam code.
• Interpret architectural and interior design blueprints or renderings to generate accurate and buildable shop drawings.
• Utilize software shortcut features and efficiencies to streamline drafting and programming tasks.
• Apply knowledge of architectural woodworking and detailing to ensure precision and quality.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-production environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with project managers and shop staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design or programming issues independently.
• Ensure all work meets company standards for quality, safety, and timeliness.

Qualifications :

Preferred but not required : Cabinet making shop experience.
