5+ Month Contract - On Site - Boston MA
Patient Services Rep is responsible for handling inbound and outbound communications for hosptial registration. The Patient Access Rep will handle patient inquiries, following-up with patients resolving patient questions regarding insurance verification and authorization.
- Conduct registration duties in a very fast paced hospital environment
- Effective interpersonal skills to interact appropriately with nursing staff, patients, families / visitors, physicians, and other hospital staff in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Demonstrated competence in basic computer skills.
- Organizational skills to effectively set priorities and efficiently complete assigned work.
- Ability to effectively apply basic secretarial skills, e.g., typing, filing, telephone skills, etc
