Position Overview

We are looking to fill the full-time role of Director of Branding & Programming for CHR WPUP & News / Talk WGAU and On-Air Talent. This person will maintain the consistent sound of the cluster CHR & News / Talk stations, including completing daily music logs, writing station imaging / promos, communicating with staff, and maintaining programming that integrates seamlessly with automation.

Responsibilities

Preparing content and co-hosting a live, four-hour weekday morning show on heritage country station, WNGC.
Voicetracking on other cluster stations will be required.
Training in policies for posting station-related content on social media and websites will be provided.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Ability to take feedback and multitask effectively.

Proficiency in running control boards, knowledge of radio automation systems, familiarity with music scheduling, clear speaking, proficiency in Adobe Audition / production, and strong social media skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous radio experience is preferred.
