job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAdhere to the contract budget set by the client and demonstrate strong project management knowledge Produce and / or lead the production of technical reports, permit submittals, and client meeting preparation. Attend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projects Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules Lead field teams in aquatic resource delineations, listed species habitat assessments, Phase I ESAs, and other reconnaissance as necessitated by the project Instill a sense of client service and urgency for projects in less experienced staff. Ability to manage multiple projects at a given time and prioritize tasks and deadlines. 2+ years of relevant experience, including federal wetlands documentation and permitting Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Ecology, Botany, Biology, or a related field Threatened and endangered species survey and / or consultation experience (preferred) Certified Wildlife Biologist (preferred but not required) Ecological field work experience including leading aquatic resource delineations, listed species habitat assessments, and / or Phase I ESAs Demonstrated technical writing skills and experience writing detailed technical reports Working knowledge or strong interest in ArcGIS Enjoy working in both an office environment and in the field, with field work being done in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, Interest in working with planners and designers to avoid and minimize ecological impacts in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations Willingness and flexibility to travel for projects as needed (locally and overnight) Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines Desire to provide exceptional client service Strong interpersonal skills Ability to enjoy work independently and on a team
