Professional Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Develop plans, specifications, technical memoranda, and cost estimates for water tank inspections and maintenance.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
• Oversee and conduct field activities, including site inspections, data collection, and report preparation.
• Engage with clients, deliver presentations, and coordinate project activities with various stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
• Attend and present at national and regional industry conferences.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Metallurgical and Materials, or a related Engineering field.  Registered PE or currently have an EIT and plan to obtain the Professional Engineer (PE) license. 5+ years of progressive experience in the water / wastewater industry and working knowledge of AWWA and / or NFPA standards.
• AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance) Certified Coating Inspector or Protective Coatings Specialist (PCS) certification. – desired Convinced KTA is where you belong?
