This is a hands-on operator role where youll be both architect and builder.

    What Youll Do

  • Capacity & Segmentation : Build and maintain a capacity model for the Learning Division (e.g., triggers by student count, assessments, partner count; new state vs. existing; new vs. veteran families). Propose segmentation that groups similar programs and clarifies staffing thresholds.
  • Process Design & Automation : Map critical workflows (e.g., curriculum provisioning, onboarding / rolling starts, learning logs, assessments) and redesign them for speed and reliability.
  • Ship quick wins using no-code / low-code (Airtable, Make / Zapier), scripts / SQL, and iPaaS patterns; document and hand off runbooks.
  • Metrics & Visibility (Dashboards as a Means, Not the End) : Stand up dashboards that drive action : time-to-value (enrollment curriculum access & first meaningful use), launch readiness, throughput, backlog, SLA adherence. Instrument leading indicators that reduce tickets and handoffs.
  • Integration & Platform Ops : Partner with Ops / Product to connect data across tools (CRM / CDP, platform, vendor systems). Where engineering isnt required, own iPaaS / no-code integrations end-to-end.
  • Change Leadership : Drive adoption : show the why, pilot, iterate, and land changes that stickminimizing context switching and rework for teachers and staff.
  • Stakeholder Management : translate complex operational changes into clear, usable practices for non-technical staff
  • Bring a creative, non-traditional mindset; challenge how its always been done.
  • 90-Day Outcomes (Immediate Impact)

  • Provisioning speedup & automations : Cut average time-to-value from enrollment to curriculum access by a defined baseline target (e.g., reduce by 3050%).
  • Capacity clarity : First pass capacity / segmentation model with triggers and staffing thresholds, validated with Learning leadership.
  • Launch kit : Learning division launch playbook (roles, dependencies, SLAs, runbooks).
  • Success Metrics (312 Months)

  • Time-to-Value : Significant reduction across key learner segments (e.g., diploma vs. non-diploma, K-8 vs. HS).
  • Automation Rate : % of high-volume steps automated; manual touches per student down materially.
  • Launch Reliability : On-time readiness for state / program launches (including mid-year) with fewer escalations.
  • Team Load : Measurable reduction in rework / context switching for Learning teams; burnout signals trending down.
  • Data Use : Dashboards routinely used in weekly / quarterly ops rituals to make decisions (not shelfware).
  • Who You Are

  • Operator-Builder : You spot inefficiencies by observing the work and you ship fixesfast.
  • No-Code + Data Fluent : Proficient with Airtable or similar databases; Make / Zapier (or comparable); understand SQL and wrangle CSVs / API (iPaaS experience may be beneficial). .
  • Dependency Thinker : Comfortable orchestrating across many roles, systems, and time-bound milestones (product-ops vibes).
