CNC Operator

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking CNC Operators to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : CNC Operator

Location : Mebane, NC

Pay Range : $25.00-$30.00 / hr. DOE Shift : 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift ($2.00 / hr. Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift)

What's the Job?

  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining either 5-axis or lathing CNC milling equipment to perform machining to meet key performance indicators
  • Performing in-process inspection to produce product in compliance within production guidelines to ensure safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures are followed
  • LEVEL "A" Must make major adjustments to CNC programs and set-ups as required and work with Engineering to develop best machining programming techniques and tooling selection as required, document and report any and all adjustments / corrections
  • Responsible for operating multiple production machines
  • Using manufacturing reporting systems

What's Needed?

  • 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator required with either 5-axis or lathing experience
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code and M-code, prove out first run programs daily
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and process plans
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Positions may be requested to work weekend or off shift scheduling to meet business needs
