Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist at our Carmel, NY location. Office practice and scoping will be in Carmel, NY with additional office and scoping opportunity in Hopewell and Fishkill NY. Putnam County is located just one hour outside of New York City. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and establish a potentially thriving practice and join colleagues in Danbury CT and Hudson Valley region in the Nuvance Digestive Health Institute. There is also opportunity for a faculty appointment. Generous $75,000 sign on bonus / retention package and relocation allowance are offered.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified / eligible gastroenterologist looking to join a highly collegial team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses.

Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, New York, is a 165-bed community hospital with a staff of more than 300 physicians. Putnam Hospitals offers emergency care, medical, surgical, oncologic, psychiatric, pediatric, orthopedic, obstetrical / gynecological, and intensive care services, as well as home health care. Our Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
