Clinic Authorization Specialist

A company is looking for a Clinic Authorization Specialist to manage authorization requests for in-network clinics.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a high volume of provider calls and emails efficiently

Review and analyze complex fertility-related authorization requests and ensure accurate data processing

Communicate with providers regarding authorizations and enforce clinic contracts related to covered services

Required Qualifications

Prior experience in a healthcare environment; knowledge of the fertility industry preferred

Undergraduate degree

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce preferred

Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes, and understanding of medical terminology preferred

Ability to work independently and manage difficult conversations effectively
