Machine Operator | Lindon, UT

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain production equipment : Monitor and operate machines involved in the galvanizing process to ensure efficient, high-quality output.
Monitor and adjust process tank parameters : Inspect and test caustic, flux, and rinse tanks; make chemical adjustments as needed to maintain safety and product standards.
Support daily production operations : Work closely with the pickling and galvanizing teams to keep workflows on track and materials processed accurately and on time.
Ensure safety and compliance : Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, and PPE. Proactively identify and report any risks.

Qualifications

Experience in galvanizing or metal processing : At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or galvanizing environment preferred.

English literacy : Ability to read and write in English for identifying materials, safety procedures, and technical documents.

Equipment operation skills : Proficient in using forklifts, overhead cranes, small tools, and testing instruments. Certification preferred or willingness to certify.

Chemical handling knowledge : Understanding of proper chemical handling and personal protective equipment (PPE) use in a production setting.

18.50 per hour

Schedule

2 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM | Monday to Friday
