Were looking for someone to join our team as a Hypnotherapist who practices skills to induce a state of relaxation and altered state of conscious awareness. This enables to draw the clients attention to new ways of thought emotions and behavior and is used to help people overcome a range of psychological conditions behaviors and ways of thinking.

Position : Certified Hypnotherapist

Location : In-Person Port Hueneme California

The Hypnotherapists responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Prepares client to enter hypnotic state by explaining how hypnosis works and what the client will experience
  • Provide individual and group sessions
  • May train client in self-hypnosis conditioning
  • Induces hypnotic state in client using individualized methods and techniques of hypnosis based on interpretation of test results and analysis of the clients problem
  • Adhere to the documentation guidelines set forth by Passages
  • Actively participate in the multi-disciplinary team process by providing and sharing with the Clinical Director and other team members information that contributes to / positively impacts the overall plan of treatment for the client

Required :

  • Valid Hypnotherapy certification required
  • High School diploma or GED required

    • Other

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including days evenings weekends and holidays to meet 24 / 7 / 365 healthcare facility needs
  • Travel between company locations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties is required as company needs dictate.
  • This position requires occasional driving as duties dictate which may include transporting clients.
  • Must satisfy post-offer pre-employment conditions such as tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter) background check (including criminal and driving record check) drug screening reference check. Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with law and company policy.
