Local White Glove Delivery Driver

Job Description :

As a White Glove Delivery Driver with James Air Cargo, you're not just a "delivery" person. You're a delivery professional who takes great pride in serving as a strong representative of our company, connecting people and their cargo. You'll work with another employee (two-person delivery teams) to deliver a variety of home furnishings, exercise equipment and other miscellaneous household products to homes and businesses of our customers throughout Northeast Ohio. Prior to departing for your deliveries each morning, you will support our dock staff in helping to locate your freight for the day and staging items to prepare for your delivery route.

Qualifications :

• You enjoy the freedom of working outside the confines of an office and appreciate the challenge a variety of experiences each day brings while working with customers in their homes and businesses.
• You're empathetic and sensitive to being in a customer's home or business. You approach each unique customer with care and agility and feel a great sense of satisfaction in creating an exceptional delivery experience.

• Experience in moving and assembling furniture (preferred).

James Air Cargo has been owned and operated by Tom Goff for more than thirty years. The company began in a basement in Medina, OH with one van and one straight truck. From there the company grew by working with airlines. With no advertising, James Air Cargo was added to an airline brochure for delivery agents in Cleveland, and combined with word of mouth grew the business into what it is today.
