Compensation : $23.00 / hour
About the Role :
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and highly organized Lead Caregiver / House Administrator to join our dedicated care team at a 5-bed RCFE. This is a hands-on leadership position that blends direct caregiving with household and administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities :
Resident Care :
- Provide high-quality personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes promptly.
- Administer medications according to physicians' instructions and facility policies.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Engage residents in daily activities, companionship, and appropriate mental stimulation.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation on care provided.
Household & Administrative Duties :
Oversee day-to-day household operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and organization.Monitor supplies and coordinate with management for ordering groceries, medications, and household items.Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and facility protocols.Coordinate and communicate with families, healthcare providers, and staff as needed.Support and guide any additional caregivers or staff on shift.Ensure all records, charts, and logs are kept up to date and properly filed.Qualifications :
Minimum 1 year of experience in a caregiving or senior care role (RCFE experience preferred).Strong leadership and organizational skills.Valid First Aid / CPR certification.Medication Administration certification (per CA RCFE requirements).TB test clearance and background check required.Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must.Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.Why Join Us?
