Manufacturing Engineer

LHH is seeking an innovative and results-driven Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading manufacturing organization! This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering professional eager to drive process improvements, enhance production efficiency, and support operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction, cycle time improvements, and automation within production systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including design, quality, and operations—to implement process improvements and resolve production issues.

Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.

Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.

Support the introduction of new products and equipment by assisting with planning, tooling design, and process validation.

Ensure manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within a high-volume production environment.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and lean principles.

Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing tools and equipment.

Demonstrated ability to analyze data and implement practical engineering solutions.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation is a plus.

Employment Type : Full-time

Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) plans

Hours : Monday through Friday

Salary : $70,000 to $85,000 / year, based on experience
