Innovation Manager II

The H-E-B Emerging Technology & Innovation (ETI) Team focuses on how we inspire and innovate with transformational change through discovering, learning, and recommending technologies that improve the lives of our customers and partners. As an Innovation Manager II, you'll contribute at an increased strategic and enterprise-impacting level and lead efforts to identify, create, and deliver breakthrough emerging technology innovations and work across H-E-B vendor, digital, and business teams. Once you're eligible, you'll become an owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and customer service. We are looking for :

  • 4+ years of industry experience

What is the work?

Management / Information Technology

  • Assists with development of short- and long-range business objectives related to specific, distinctive emerging technology and innovation goals
  • Shares / co-develops technology exploration targets and team objectives
  • Provides advanced business case analysis to support further new idea development
  • Manages priorities; makes critical decisions to focus / allocate resources
  • Serves as thought leader and mentor in assigned relationships
  • Performs Innovation Mgr I duties

    • What is your background?

  • A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or experience
  • 4+ years of experience in the industry
  • 3+ years of experience at a senior management level
  • Experience in businesses, technologies, and innovation-type initiatives / projects
  • Experience in incubation / execution of entrepreneurial ventures and orchestrated commercialization plans for breakthrough consumer solutions
  • Experience successfully conducting / executing ideation processes
  • Experience successfully working complex issues on cross-functional teams
  • Experience in emerging technology and innovation management
  • Experience successfully working complex issues with senior management
