Caterpillar's Corporate Aftermarket Finance Services Division, has an open Accountant position for the Corporate Aftermarket Decision Support (CADS) team. The CADS team is responsible for financial business case development for CI / RI / E&T Go-to-Market led initiatives following the New Services Development (NSD) process and advising AMO and other services organizations on aftermarket growth business case development and the NSD process.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate aftermarket growth financial investment analysis and presenting results to management.

What You Will Do :

Provide valuable insights to Commercial Vice Presidents, directly impacting Caterpillar's business, strategy and growth

Serve as investment analysis lead for cross-functional services growth project teams

Advise component and service divisions on aftermarket investment analysis, ensuring consistency and adherence to Caterpillar policies and procedures

Provide education to accounting and cross-functional teams

Drive behavior and influence decisions in accordance with financial targets and business unit / division / enterprise strategy

Presentation and explanation of results to management

Participate as a team member on special projects

What You Have :

Education / Experience : Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Accuracy and Attention to Detail : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Analytical Thinking : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

Financial Analysis : Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Additional Info :

This position can be located in Peoria, IL or Irving, TX

This role requires 5 days a week in office

Summary Pay Range :

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
