  • Two physicians needed

PATIENT INFORMATION

  • Patient Demographics : All ages
  • Patient Volume / Census : Approx. 19,000 annually ( 52 / day)
  • Admissions : Yes (volume TBD)
  • Case Mix : General emergency medicine

    • FACILITY INFORMATION

  • EMR System : Epic
  • Support Staff Available : 10 hours daily of NP / PA coverage
  • Reason for Coverage : Supplemental Coverage

    • PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

    • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Rate : TBD
  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • General emergency medicine procedures
  • Advanced airway management
  • Wound care and laceration repair

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Mississippi license required
  • Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty
  • DEA : Active DEA Certification required
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS preferred
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years of ED experience preferred
  • Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR strongly preferred

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population
  • Work 12-hour shifts alongside NP / PA support
  • Accurately document all encounters in Epic
  • Collaborate with nursing and advanced practice staff
  • Adhere to hospital policies and emergency care protocols
