Daily Responsibilities : Perform surgical preparation and assist during procedures Monitor anesthesia and vital signs Provide Fear Free care to reduce stress in patients Perform IV catheterization and venipuncture Collect and handle samples for diagnostics, both in-house and send out Record keeping and client instruction Required Skills : Registered / Certified Veterinary Technician Experience with anesthesia monitoring Proficient in IV catheterization and phlebotomy Strong background in surgical nursing and genermal medicine Ability to perform medication administration and discharge planning Nice to Have Skills : Experience with dental prophylaxis Knowledge of preventive care practices Previous experience in triage and urgent care Company Information : Burton Creek Veterinary Clinic offers high-quality veterinary services, including emergency care, preventative primary care, general and internal medicine, diagnostics, and comprehensive dental care for pets.
