Sr. Systems Administrator II - Generalist

The Senior Systems Administrator II supports the information technology (IT) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) server team by managing enterprise-level, high performance, highly available server technology solutions (systems, applications, and services).

Responsibilities

• Configure, troubleshoot, administer, and maintain the organizations Windows, Linux, and Citrix server environments
• Monitor and administer the departments access and transfer cross domain solutions (CDS)
• Develop and deploy automated mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency and streamline activities across a variety of technologies, applications, and services
• Maintain and utilize system configuration and monitoring tools to analyze performance and remediate concerns (ex : Active Directory, MECM, SolarWinds, etc.)
• Draft requests for change (RFC) and analyze submissions from other departments
• Develop technical documentation including diagrams, standard operating procedures, workflows, and run books
