BASIC FUNCTION
Working in collaboration as a member of the Triad Clinic Leadership Team (Triad Team), per the Triad Team standard operating procedure (SOP), the Nurse Manager will oversee and proactively manage the daily clinical operations of the clinic. The nurse manager will be responsible for supervising staff (RNs, LVNs, MAs, and In-house Lab personnel), triaging patients (via phone or in person), assisting with clinical tasks, providing education and training to staff and patients, performing quality improvement initiatives, and effectively communicating and collaborating with Operations Manager / Medical Director to ensure the delivery of patient-centered care and continuous improvement of clinic operations. The Nurse Manager carries out responsibilities in accordance with Health Point values, policies / procedures, and applicable laws.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBLITIES (Manager level)
Determines the most effective method for assigning responsibilities and duties to department employees.
Assigns duties and responsibilities, and ensures employees receive instruction / training needed to complete their job responsibilities.
Ensures that employees are aware of and adhere to all company policies and procedures and conveys all senior management communications and directives.
Prepares and conducts performance appraisals for immediate staff :
Works with One up Leader and Human Resources to recruit, hire, and onboard staff
Works with One up Leader and Human Resource to support the disciplinary and termination procedures when needed
Effectively prioritize tasks and projects based on business needs and resources.
Ensure alignment of initiatives with organizational priorities and objectives.
Manage competing demands and adapt to changing priorities
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Required Education : Bachelor's degree (BSN) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school majoring in nursing
Preferred Education : Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Required Certifications, Licenses, Registrations : Active registered nurse license from the state of Texas, current BLS certification
Preferred Experience : 3-5 years clinical experience in an ambulatory / medical, pediatrics, or OB / GYN practice setting, staff development, education.
Required Experience : 5 years in nursing, 2 years management or Charge Nurse experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Uses HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to manage HR (Human Resource) employee record keeping, workforce reporting, talent management, time & attendance, and benefits administration
Uses CRM or like software to manage and evaluate customer / patient information for business development of process improvement opportunities
