Salary : $23 - $25 per hour

The Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting the agency with establishing and meeting its short- and long-term fundraising objectives and provides support to program staff, board members, volunteers, and donors throughout the process.

Primary functions include managing the donor database, , executing agency fundraising strategies, and supporting marketing, public relations, community engagement, and volunteer coordination activities.

Working alongside the CEO and senior staff, the Development Coordinator ensures that NSOs mission objectives are funded and understood throughout our community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Donor and Community Engagement :

In partnership with the CEO, identify, qualify, and solicit donors to NSO. 10% / with an emphasis on inviting people to Lunch and Learns, calling lapsed donors to invite them on a tour and to Lunch and Learns.

• Using fundraising best practices, design, implement, and administer a moves management system to increase NSO's major donors and legacy gifts. 20% / in tandem with CEO
• Arrange and execute various donor cultivation events including the monthly Lunch and Learns.
• Provide timely and engaging communication - written and verbal - for donors including messaging on organizational outcomes, ways to give and volunteer opportunities.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of solicitation materials including donor letters, CEO major gift materials and direct mail pieces.

40% / critical factor of 5 (with 5 the highest)

Oversee the internal United Way campaign.

Stewardship :

Oversee all recognition mechanisms including annual donor lists for publications and reports.

Fundraising Operations :

Maintain a fundraising calendar with results, solicitations, acknowledgment documents, grants, and other information pertinent to fundraising.
